Household appliances
Imerys talc reinforced polypropylene or engineering thermoplastics are effective alternatives to metal used in jug kettles, toasters, irons and similar household appliances.
Imerys talcs reinforce plastic parts used in household appliances, enhancing their stiffness, temperature resistance, and dimensional stability, while lowering formulation costs and increasing whiteness.
White goods
Imerys talcs give high temperature rigidity to white goods. They are chemically inert and remain stable in contact with active detergents, food remains and other materials that may be present in washing machines, dishwashers, tumble-driers and similar products.
Garden furniture
Imerys talcs increase the rigidity and dimensional stability of garden furniture while reducing the formulation cost.
We supply talc grades covering the full brightness spectrum, from ultra white talcs (Y=95) for high brightness applications to more economical, darker talcs for non-visible parts.
Our fine milled products are available in compacted form for enhanced compounding throughput and dosing accuracy.
